Lesly Wester Cuza, FNP-C, is a skilled and highly experienced nurse practitioner with a strong medical background. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1999 from the Facultad de Ciencias Medicas de Santiago de Cuba. He worked as a family physician in Cuba, Bolivia, and South Africa for nearly a decade. His work in these countries provided him with a wealth of experience in community and secondary levels of care.

After emigrating to the United States, Lesly continued his dedication to patient care by working as a medical assistant and registered nurse for over four years. In 2021, he earned his Master’s Degree in Nursing from Miami Regional University and transitioned into the role of a Family Nurse Practitioner. As an International Medical Graduate (IMG), he brings a global perspective and a wealth of clinical knowledge to his practice. He is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He joined Cornerstone Medical Care in 2022.

Lesly is known for his proficiency in managing cardiological complications and providing whole-body wellness and preventative care. His experience in various healthcare settings has given him the expertise to treat patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries. Lesly integrates motivational interviewing techniques to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Additionally, Lesly is fluent in Spanish and English, enabling him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. His passion for patient-centered care and his commitment to continuous professional development make him a valuable asset our team.
